Due to the nature of the conversion of the Grade II listed building, we worked closely with Manchester City Council to achieve Listed Building Consent before starting the works.
Our remit included structural alterations, demolition and soft strip, MEP upgrades, flooring, lighting, decoration and other associated works, all carried out in a sympathetic view to the age and character of the building.
Once completed, this project has achieved a number of notable successes, including winning an Active Travel award, Active Score certification and a SKA rating of excellent from RICS. The quality of the facilities also fell between BCO and BREAAM standard guidelines.
