TMT were appointed by Nuveen real estate working with JLL to deliver a large-scale Cat A landlords scheme at the popular Manchester Fort Shopping Park, on the outskirts of the city.

Our scope of works internally involved the strip out of the existing retail space, a full white box internally ensuring the existing M&E kit was retained for future use by the incoming tenant.
Externally new curtain walling was designed and installed by TMT, this included alterations at roof level with a new box gutter being formed. The roof was also overhauled with cut edge corrosion treatment, as well as refurbishment to the existing roof lights and fixings, all of which are challenging in a live retail environment.
This was a challenging site in a live retail environment which was completed within a tight timescale to accommodate the incoming tenant and to continue the revenue stream for our client. We continue to have a strong working relationship with Nuveen and JLL.
