We have a long-standing relationship with Greencore foods having previously completed various works on their sites up and down the country. It was a simple choice for the client to partner with us once again to undertake the fit out of their new distribution and office facility in Tamworth.

Approach

Working closely with other Greencore specialist partners, we took the lead as main contractor on the design and build of the new facility.

Working to SQA food standards to provide a cold storage facility within the newly constructed warehouse. Alongside this, a large office extension was constructed off the base build offices to provide further accommodation for staff.

To the offices a series of meeting rooms and executive offices were constructed, additional toilets and showers were built for the warehouse staff, adjacent to the cold storage facility additional offices were built for warehouse managers and a driver welfare area was provided.

The impact it’s made

This was a challenging project with ambitious timescales to allow Greencore to expand across the Midlands region. No matter how challenging though, TMT delivered and completed the project on time and on budget.
