As part of our appointment on Merseyway Innovation Centre, we partnered with Stockport College, to offer T-Level Students valuable on site experiences, and guidance from our sites, and health & safety teams.
By involving students in a live project, we have helped them gain valuable insight into our construction process and the health and safety requirements of our sites. This kind of first hand experience is vital for ensuring theses students will have the necessary skills and understanding to operate on sites safely in the future!
As part of this collaboration we also visited Trafford and Stockport College group, where we delivered two presentations to students pursuing the T-Level apprenticeship route and those considering T-Level apprenticeships. We provided insights into TMT as a company and the various roles within the construction industry, specifically highlighting opportunities available at TMT. During these sessions, we engaged with students offering them the opportunity to apply to be an apprentice at TMT. One student will be offered the opportunity to join TMT as an apprentice at the end of the academic year, showcasing our commitment to supporting young talent in the construction industry.
TMT are proud of the community we thrive in, and we hope to see some of these students working safely on our sites in the future.
