Our scope of works included a number of high-profile elements which could impact on the operation of the wider shopping centre and its customers, these included the removal of four large-scale escalators, the installation of a new escalator in their place and the construction of a new staircase.
Aesthetically, a large element of the work involved bespoke joinery, the creation of a tiled feature wall and the installation of a glass balustrade to radically transform the Market Street entrance to the Arndale.
We phased the works on this project due to the large-scale nature of the project elements, we needed to ensure that the Market Street entrance to the shopping centre remained open at all times for customers and staff. This was a game changer for our company and allowed us a platform to move forward.
