Warehouse Refurbishment, 17-18 & 21 Wingates Industrial Estate

The brief was simple, take a tired and dilapidated old manufacturing building and refurbish it to attract a new tenant. The building was partially occupied during the works and TMT had to cater for working around the existing manufacturing operations whilst carrying out the refurbishment, without delays to the programme, or disruption to client operations.

TMT were instructed to carry out strip out works, and a full refurbishment scheme, including;

  • Refurbishment & Cleaning of the Warehouse Area

The team at TMT were pro-active and extremely hardworking throughout their involvement with the project. Despite a number of client led variations during the contract period, TMT were able to complete the work without impact to the Programme and ensured all costs remained competitive. Both Malcolm Hollis and our client were delighted with the work upon completion which completely transformed the space, leading to immediate interest in the building.

Subsequent to relocating all manufacturing operations from our Bredbury facility to other Renold sites overseas, we were left with a property in very poor condition that required a total refurbishment in all areas within the main factory and numerous offices to two floors. The project brief was to return the entire site to a suitable condition that would entice sub-tenants seeking a first class facility in excess of 165k sq. ft.
